Experiments

Here I have experimented with different mediums to create designs. I have used pencil sketches, and a red coloured pencil. These are just experiments, not complete designs.

Character Digital Drawing - Owl

Here I have used GIMP Online Photo Editor to create this drawing. It is probably oen of my worst designs, as it looks very amatuer. If I had access to a graphics tablet, then it probably would have improved the quality.

Character Design - Snek

Annotation: Here I have taken the light source from a different angle to show different patterns of shading.

Character Design - Traitor

Annotation: Here is another example of sketching. This drawing is probably one of the worst out of what I have created. Although I believe that it effectively displays shading.

Environment Drawing - Tree

Annotation: The shading on the tree indicates a shadow created from the light source. This adds realism to the drawing by emphasising dark places in areas with less light, such as under branchs and leaves.

Character Drawing - Boba Fett

Annotation: Here I have represented a downward facing light source and shown shading underneath the visor, antennea and other embellished details.

Character Drawing - Praetorian

Here is my first character design. I feel like I could have done more to shade this design, although I count it as one of my better drawings.
